Contract: 12-month contract with possible conversion to direct (this depends on your performance and attendance.)

Employee-paid medical benefits are available on the 1st of the month after your 30th day of work.

Administrative Warehouse Clerk
Responsibilities:
Regional Distribution Center Warehouse Clerk will be required to assist RDC Management in executing, daily, the set strategic directions of the assigned department. They are responsible for clerical functions related to support of warehouse activities. They will be required to organize and distribute work in their assigned department and maintain records and files.
Warehouse Clerks will be expected to manage appointment schedules and operational document flow, whilst ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Responsible for supporting, warehouse activities for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, reverse and inventory control, complete special project that will require forklift operation while achieving the highest standards of Performance and Customer Service levels to client’s automotive retail centers.
Release, troubleshoot, sort, and distribute orders/work assignments to operational staff.
Regularly monitor status of daily workload completion and frequently report status to Supervisor.
Responsible for daily key performance reporting throughout assigned area. Provide consistent and accurate data back to RDC Management.
Responsible to maintain and update ticket system for dealer and corporate communication for RDC.
Support dealer and corporate staff with order status, tracking and emergency car-down order processing.
Research open parts orders, maintain tracking information and shipping manifest records, assist hourly staff with general questions.
Monitor and report daily department and employee performance in areas of quality, production, and process.
Observe/audit processes and propose alternatives and improvements, as necessary.
Ensure training records are updated and regularly audit.
Responsible to maintain required reports and data collection in assigned department.
Maintain proper inventories of required office/operational supplies, such as forms, markers, pens, and labels.
Ensure compliance of the client’s Value-Added Production System (VPS) within assigned area.
Schedule and maintain records of inbound/outbound trucks/shipments.
Preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports as required by RDC management staff.
Ensure a safe and clean environment is always maintained.
Complete special projects as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
One (1) to Two (2) years logistics/distribution experience preferred.
OEM distribution experience preferred.
Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
Experience operating a Forklift.
Knowledge in supply chain distribution.
Knowledge of the general warehouse industry, best practices, and techniques.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
Experience with labor planning and resource management.
Strong people skills and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Familiar with Warehouse Management System functionality - SAP, WM preferred.
Proficient written and oral communication skills. Comfortable presenting to group settings.
Ability to obtain all Dangerous Goods Certifications.
Language: Fluent English. Ability to speak or understand Spanish or German is a plus, however not required.
Walking or standing occasionally from 5-15% of shift.
Little lifting or carrying up to 25lbs less than 5% of shift.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
