Job Description
Client Title: Vehicle Process Associate
Pay Rate: USD 17.62 - USD 24.81 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:40 PM
Lunch Break: 12:00 PM - 12:40 PM
Break Times: 8:00 AM - 8:10 AM (1st Break) and 10:00 AM - 10:10 AM (2nd Break)
Overtime: Availability for Saturday or Sunday overtime will be confirmed by Thursday of each week
Contract Type: Long-term, ongoing W2 contract (No projected end date)
Location: 100% onsite

Job Summary:
The Vehicle Administration Porter will be responsible for processing vehicles, including handling basic computer tasks within an internal system. The role requires basic vehicle processing such as parking cars, washing them, and completing necessary computer work and paperwork. The position involves outdoor work in various weather conditions and requires the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate scanning of vehicles into inventory.
Perform vehicle quality checks, including QC1, PD1, and prepping vehicles.
Support inbound and outbound vehicle movements, following FIFO principles.
Install vehicle accessories and parts using hand tools or other equipment provided by company.
Perform visual inspections of vehicles and parts for any defects.
Ensure proper disposal or recycling of parts.
Use SAP, VMS, and VDS systems for vehicle service orders and movements.
Utilize handheld scanners to update vehicle locations.
Serve as a point of contact for any quality issues found with vehicles or parts.
Assist with accessory installation, vehicle movements, and inventory scanning as needed.
Apply problem-solving skills and ensure adherence to work instructions.
Meet daily deadlines and follow all safety and 5S standards.
Follow and model VPS principles, standard work concepts, and problem-solving techniques.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license in good standing with a clean driving record.
Experience:
1+ years of experience in a production or similar work environment (preferred).
1+ years of experience using MS Office applications (preferred).
1+ years of vehicle handling experience (preferred).
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
Work Environment:
This position will involve working both indoors and outdoors, with approximately 25% of the day spent outside. Ability to work in all weather conditions is required.
