Tool Install Lead Structural Engineer

The Engineer will provide Structural Engineering services in the electronics industrial field through structural analysis, calculations, and design.
The Tool Install Lead Structural Engineer will be part of a fast-paced team focused on providing the structural requirements for installing tools used to manufacture semiconductor wafers, including designing pedestals, equipment anchorage, and utility supports.
Will be working with other engineers and designers, as well as with clients and construction trade partners, to develop design concepts, complete the analysis and design, and work with the Designers to communicate the structural requirement.
Will competently perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering and analysis
Will lead a small team of Structural Engineers and Designers in the development of calculations, specifications, and construction drawings
Must fully understand all structural scope, recognize how that scope is both generated and impacted by other disciplines, and identify scope change
Develop and manage schedule, budget, and staffing forecasts for the structural scope
Attend project meetings and takes an active role to help the team resolve concerns and solve problems across all disciplines
Act as the stamping Engineer of Record
Take ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the deliverable, including calculations and all construction documents
Participate in and champions internal, cross-discipline, and external project quality reviews.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred
Structural Engineer License (SE)
7 to 15 years of experience in structural engineering
Experience in designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures
Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
tool install experience in the semiconductor industry
Experience leading a team of Structural Engineers and Designers
