Job Description
HKA is working on behalf of Jacobs and this role is to support Jacobs’ work through HKA.
Responsibilities:
Summary:
Responsible for computer hardware support, maintenance and troubleshooting. PC network connectivity, computer installs, ticket resolution and end user application support. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures related to computer hardware support in an enterprise environment. Support for smartphones and Wireless devices from installation, setup, and problem resolution.
Job Description:
- Can perform 2nd level support of desktop hardware in a Windows environment using TCP/IP connectivity.
- Able to process and close a minimum of 65 service tickets per month.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft software and system operating loads, problem ticket resolution and end user application support.
- Understands and effectively supports windows specific applications.
- Installs software, hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, network interface cards and disk drives.
- Performs PC Adds/Moves/Changes
- Supports iPhones/Android devices and other approved communication devices (Cellular and Wireless) including, but not limited to, setup, server configuration, desk\laptop configuration, profiles, account connections, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinates and supports activities assigned by the Service Desk, Infrastructure Team, or other information systems groups.
- Provides updates, status, and completion information according to published procedures.
- Enters and completes work order and service call information via the Service Now tracking system.
- Maintains inventory of capital equipment and computer parts used in performing maintenance.
- Ability to travel to different local locations.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Windows 7/10 operating systems and MS Office up to Office 365 .
- A+, MCSE, -N+, and other related certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of smartphones and other wireless devices such as tablets.
- Experience supporting AutoCAD, Revit, and ProjectWise a plus.
