Senior HVAC Design Technician

Job Description

We’re hiring a Senior HVAC Design Technician to lead the design of industrial HVAC and process exhaust systems for advanced facilities including data centers, cleanrooms, and manufacturing environments. This role is ideal for someone who can jump in, work independently, and make an immediate impact.

Pay: $50.00-$75.00 per hour DOE

What You’ll Do

• Lead design, layout, and routing of industrial HVAC/mechanical systems
• Develop P&IDs, plans, sections, and construction details
• Support projects from concept through detailed design
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with mechanical codes and design standards

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or GED
• 8+ years of AutoCAD design experience
• 4+ years of Revit experience
• 5+ years of industrial mechanical/HVAC design experience
• Strong knowledge of IMC and U.S. mechanical codes
• Ability to execute design packages independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with semiconductors, data centers, or cleanrooms
• Associate’s or technical degree
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
