Supply Chain Analyst
Job Description
Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Analyst Indirect Programs reports into the Indirect Supply Chain Director within the Supply Chain organization and is responsible for managing internal Indirect supplier, project, and customer service programs as assigned. This role will be responsible for supporting the Category Director, Managers, and Leads with operational and project support requirements as needed. SupServe as primary Indirect Supply Chain operational contact for categories and commodities which Supply Chain maintains both Sourcing and Operational responsibilities.
Examples include, but may not be limited to:
- Travel programs (travel management company, online booking tools, airlines, lodging, ground transportation, parking, visa and passport
-Office supplies
-Promotional items
-Credit card spend compliance
-Employee discount programs
-Internal indirect website maintenance (links to employee resources, program benefits, messaging
-Safety materials
-Tooling
-E-Catalogs
Maintain second level (advanced) support for the above programs where outsourced first level support is unable to fully complete troubleshooting
Perform high level of customer service responsiveness
Demonstrate high level of customer service collaboration and willingness to effectively and cheerfully problem solve for internal customers (stakeholders)
Serve as liaison between internal resources and supplier customer service and technical services support
-Manage price updates and data integrity for contract rate sheets
-identify and recommend process improvements for Indirect services delivery
-Build partnerships with business stakeholders through effective communication and execution.
-Provide insights on the benefits and drawbacks of different supplier options
-Works independently with limited supervision Assists with preparing RFP bid scoring results / summaries Assists with identifying and presenting potential suppliers through various search methods
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of two years experience in supply chain, procurement and/or sourcing
Strong financial and business acumen
Ability to analyze information and provide insight and recommendations
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Ability to internalize new information and become a SME (subject matter expert)
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to effectively prioritize while frequently multi-tasking
