Job Description

HKA is working on behalf of Jacobs and this role is to support Jacobs’ work through HKA.

Responsibilities:

You’ll work closely with clients and construction trade partners as you develop design concepts, create models from scratch, and coordinate designs to consider existing conditions and other disciplines. You’ll convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models. Come join our team and support structural design services in the electronics industrial field through Revit modeling and CAD design and have a hand in transforming tomorrow.

 You’ll also have the chance to provide leadership for a small project with a team of designers, establishing project standards and procedures, training and developing your team, and building and maintaining team morale. Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Here’s what you’ll need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of drafting/design experience in the structural field
  • At least 1 year Revit experience
  • At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience

 Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • At least 3 years drafting/designer experience in the structural field
  • At least 2 years Revit experience
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry or general industrial facilities
  • Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
  • Experience leading a team of Designers
  • Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry or general industrial facilities
  • Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
