Nuclear DPS/Cybersecurity Specialist
Job Description
Pay: $65.00- $75.00 per hour DOE
We are seeking an experienced DPS & Cybersecurity Specialist to support digital system upgrades and modifications within a Nuclear Projects organization. This role focuses on plant digital modifications and engineering changes — not routine maintenance — ensuring compliance with NRC regulations and cybersecurity requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support digital upgrades in accordance with 10 CFR 50.59 and site standards
Serve as DPS SME for project-related modifications
Perform Cyber/DPS reviews for Engineering Changes
Support cybersecurity control implementation and compliance assessments
Partner with engineering and project teams to integrate digital technologies
Minimum Qualifications (Must Have):
5+ years DPS/Cyber experience in a U.S. commercial nuclear plant
Strong knowledge of digital I&C systems, networking (TCP/IP, switches, firewalls), and cybersecurity principles
Experience reading control wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, and plant drawings
Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access
Preferred: NRC Cybersecurity Training, CAP, Nuclear I&C certifications.
