Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour DOE
This is the career/senior level of the administrative hierarchy. Employees at this level provide administrative support to Catawba Nuclear Training Department. At this level, the individual has developed specialized skills or is multi-skilled through considerable on-the-job experience and completes work with a limited degree of supervision. This position may support multiple managers and serves in a non-exempt capacity.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uses company specific software applications (e.g. NLMS, Fusion, NANTeL, NAS) to:
• Proctor NANTeL exams and computer based training for site contract workers
• Process and vault training records
• Update simulator procedures
• Data Entry
Uses software applications (e.g. Outlook, Adobe, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
• Depending upon the organization, may prepare and update functional reports or records requiring compilation of information from multiple sources; may maintain plant records as required.
• Maintains files and calendars.
• Responsible for coordinating meeting arrangements, reserving conference rooms, reserving training rooms, facility requests and tracking expenses.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
• Ensures training organization has supplies needed to conduct training
• Orders and coordinates meals as needed for meetings and training
Basic Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years administrative experience
• Strong computer skills required
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite applications, including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
• Demonstrated ability to communicate (both written and oral) in a clear, concise and effective manner
• Ability to effectively interface with multiple across a department, e.g. managers, supervisors, employees
Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Proficient in client Nuclear procedures and processes
• Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with changing conditions.
• Experienced NANTeL Administrator
• Experienced NANTeL Proctor
• Experience with Nuclear Learning Management System (NLMS)
• Demonstrates willingness to learn new skills and tools (programs, software, hardware) to enhance job efficiencies
• Extremely well organized
• Attention to detail
Working Conditions
• Performs work in normal office environment
• May be required to provide assistance in multiple areas as needed.
• Position will be located at a nuclear generating plant, regional office, etc.
• Prolong sitting at desk/computer.
• Hours are Monday-Thursday 0630-01700 (30 minute lunch)
