Job Description
HKA Construction Services has immediate opening for Sheet Metal Worker, job site location in Newport News, VA. All Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a 1st Class Sheet Metal Work in the installation of foundations, ventilation, bulkheads, shipboard furniture & sheet metal fabrication shop work. Marine experience is preferred.
Wages:
$27.50/Hr. & $120.00 Per Diem per day.
Required Skills:
Ability to comprehend complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
Ability to comprehend fractional and decimal dimensions with the use of a ruler.
Ability to layoff piece parts for fabrication and assembly
Ability to assemble piece parts in accordance with specifications.
Experience using small hand tools (electric drills, grinders, rivet guns) and shop equipment (drill press, press break, shears, etc.).
- Must successfully pass a background check & Hair follicle drug test.
- Must be able to work any shift and overtime, if required
