Senior Structural Engineering (PE)
Job Description
Location Requirement: Must reside in the U.S. Southwest Region (AZ, CA, CO, HI, NM, NV, UT) or Canada
We’re seeking a Senior Structural Engineering Professional (PE/PEng) to lead structural analysis and design for advanced industrial and semiconductor facilities. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, lead teams, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Pay: $68.00- $78.00 per hour DOEKey Responsibilities
- Perform and lead structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures
- Apply U.S. building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC), including seismic design
- Develop design concepts and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Review calculations and ensure quality control of deliverables
- Manage scope, schedule, and project deliverables
- Lead or support project teams and mentor junior staff
- Participate in client coordination and project meetings
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis)
- Professional Engineer (PE/PEng) license
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes and structural analysis tools
- Experience designing steel and concrete structures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field
- Structural Engineer (SE) license
- Experience with semiconductor or industrial facilities
- Experience leading medium-sized teams
- Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
