Senior Structural Designer (PHX)
Job Description
We’re hiring a Senior Structural Designer (PHX) to lead the development of 2D and 3D structural designs for advanced manufacturing and semiconductor facilities. This role is ideal for an experienced designer who can take full ownership of complex projects, lead multi-discipline coordination, and deliver high-quality, construction-ready documentation.
Pay: $48.00- $52.50 per hour DOEKey Responsibilities
- Lead development and coordination of 3D structural models (Revit)
- Produce complete, accurate, and constructible drawing packages
- Ensure compliance with client and company standards
- Coordinate across engineering disciplines and resolve design issues
- Lead multi-contributor teams and manage project scope, quality, and schedule
- Oversee QA/QC, BIM coordination, and clash detection processes
- Drive continuous improvement, workflows, and design automation
Basic Qualifications
- Associate degree in CAD or related field
- 10+ years of structural drafting/design experience
- 5+ years of Revit experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 15+ years of structural design experience
- 8+ years of Revit experience
- Experience with SmartPlant, Tekla, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Experience with steel and concrete structures
- Industrial or semiconductor facility experience
Additional Details
- Hybrid role (must live within 50 miles of Phoenix/Tempe, AZ)
- Minimum 2 days/week onsite
- Leadership role with high-impact project responsibilities
