Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Repair Development Engineer to support the development and execution of repair solutions for gas turbine engine components. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure repair development projects are completed efficiently and meet engineering, quality, and customer requirements.

You will work closely with Technical Leads, Structures Engineering, Program Managers, Validation Engineering teams, and external customers such as MRO shops and airlines to support repair design, project planning, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support repair development projects for gas turbine engine components

• Collaborate with engineering, program management, and validation teams to ensure successful project execution

• Develop and maintain project schedules and track task progress

• Coordinate with repair design teams and MRO facilities to support repair implementation

• Provide technical support and engineering analysis related to engine component repairs

• Communicate project status and technical updates with internal teams and customers

• Ensure projects meet engineering, quality, and program requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

• 8+ years of related engineering experience or 5+ years with an advanced degree

• Experience with gas turbine engine design, manufacturing, or repair

• Project engineering experience, including schedule creation and task management

• Strong technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with repair development programs or MRO environments

• Familiarity with validation engineering and certification processes

• Experience coordinating with airlines, repair shops, or aviation customers
