Location: Orange, Osceola, Polk, Lake, Seminole, or Volusia Counties
Pay: $60.00- $70.00 per hour DOE

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Public Engagement Manager to lead strategic outreach for customer delivery projects, including substation optimization and undergrounding initiatives. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, managing stakeholder communications, and engaging with property owners and local communities to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage strategic engagement plans
Coordinate external communications with property owners and stakeholders
Support project teams with field visits, pre-construction meetings, and community interactions
Organize public information meetings and manage inquiries
Collaborate with government and community relations teams to optimize outreach
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience OR High school/GED + 7 years experience
Valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in energy, utilities, or customer delivery/distribution
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Project management proficiency
Community engagement and stakeholder management experience
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and handle escalated situations
Working Conditions:
Travel to construction sites and community events
On-call availability as needed
Field mobility required (reside within reasonable commute)
