About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital projects within a utilities/energy environment. This role has single-point accountability for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Projects may range from moderate to high complexity and can include construction, infrastructure, or energy-related initiatives.

Pay: $78.00- $88.00 per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

• Lead and manage cross-functional, matrixed project teams

• Provide oversight across Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, QA/QC, EHS, Regulatory, and Operations

• Serve as primary point of accountability for assigned project portfolio

Planning & Execution

• Develop and manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and safety plans

• Oversee estimating, contracting strategy, procurement, vendor selection, and commissioning

• Ensure projects are delivered within approved budget and schedule constraints

• Manage change control, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communications

Governance & Reporting

• Lead project meetings and stakeholder presentations

• Prepare and deliver executive-level status reporting

• Ensure compliance with internal PM standards and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• 11+ years of related project management experience

• Strong knowledge of project management principles and capital project delivery

• Experience managing cross-functional teams

• Proven experience delivering projects within scope, cost, and schedule targets

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Business degree

• Experience managing $5M–$100M+ capital projects

• Utility or energy industry experience

• PMP, PE, or other professional certification

• Advanced knowledge of scheduling and cost controls

• Construction management background
