Job Description
Job Title: Senior Process Piping Designer – 3D CAD
Pay: $55.00- $67.00 per hour DOE
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated, self-starting Process Piping Designer with 10+ years of experience in the layout of process and mechanical equipment and piping systems. The ideal candidate is an advanced user of CADWorx OR Revit 3D and Navisworks, and is well organized with excellent communication skills. Experience with process mechanical piping systems, industrial waste, high purity water systems, or microelectronics/semiconductor facilities is a plus.
Education can be waived in lieu of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Create 3D piping and equipment layout models under the guidance of Lead Designers
Coordinate designs with other piping designers and multidisciplinary teams (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, etc.)
Develop 3D piping plans for high-tech industrial manufacturing projects
Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and designers to ensure project success
Provide input on pipe installation details and supports when needed
Maintain organized documentation and adhere to project standards
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of process piping design experience
Advanced proficiency in CADWorx or Revit 3D and Navisworks
Experience with industrial waste, high purity water, or microelectronics/semiconductor systems
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with pipe supports and installation details a plus
Ability to work in a hybrid or fully remote environment
