Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description
The pay rate offered for this role is $69.50 per hour DOE
This position will support the development of pricing initiatives for electric utilities. Employee will work on rate designs and customer programs related to clean energy, demand response, battery storage and electric vehicles, among others. The position blends regulatory strategy, creative problem solving and data analytics. Employee will utilize tools like Excel, SQL, Python, SAS and Power BI to analyze large datasets, to perform modeling and financial calculations, and to draw insights on load patterns and rate design.
Responsibilities
• Regulatory strategy, reporting and filing support; rate case support
• Modeling and financial analysis for rate designs and programs
• Customer cost of service and rate analysis
• Derive value from rate designs and programs through customer engagement, measurement and verification (M&V), and design feedback
• Development of rate calculation tools and other customer resources
• Industry research and benchmarking
Desired skills: Communication; data analysis and visualization; regulatory experience; project management; SAP billing and reporting; programming languages (SAS, Python, SQL)
10+ yrs exp (will consider 5+ if well qualified)
Mobility: Hybrid (3 days in office)
