Senior Electrical Designer – Pittsburgh, PA (Contract-to-Hire)
Pay: $58.00- $67.00 per hour DOE

The Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to perform hands-on electrical design and drafting while supporting project delivery and mentoring junior team members. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies to create designs that power the world’s most advanced facilities. This role requires strong AutoCAD and Revit MEP skills, technical expertise, and a focus on quality and precision.
Responsibilities
Develop 2D and 3D electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
Create layouts, sketches, 3D models, and electronic documentation using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
Deliver complex design packages in coordination with engineers and design leads.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, engineering, and clients to meet project goals.
Prepare staffing plans based on deliverables and project schedules.
Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced designers and drafters.
Ensure designs comply with NEC and electrical design standards and client specifications.
Contribute to high-profile projects in semiconductor, data center, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
Must-Have Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
10+ years of relevant electrical design experience utilizing 3D modeling and drafting tools.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
At least 2 years of Revit MEP design experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of NEC and electrical design requirements.
Associate’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or related field.
3+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
