Position Purpose/Scope:
Supports and engages in the development of the plant’s detailed business concept
Supports in ensuring execution of the software systems and material flow in facility to support Production and logistics, with regards to material flow and inventory control.
Troubleshoots, identify root causes (hardware and software) and resolves issues as necessary. Ensures compliance with logistics processes, plant’s targets, and Global requirements.

Position Responsibilities:
Monitors production WIPs to ensure continuous flow and smooth transition of inventory to meet sequence, throughput, and volume goals.
Monitors and controls the internal production processes for all the plants logistics processes through the use of SAP IM/WM software control systems.
Monitors the plant’s replenishment systems and interfaces with telegrams between PLCs and SAP.
Monitors various inventory reports in SAP.
Steeres future development and implementation activities related to the plant’s replenishment systems- In terms of new requirements and enhancement needs.
Develops and sustains effective working relationships with all Manufacturing technologies and management teams to ensure the plant’s uptime and volume targets.
Acts as a proxy for other physical logistics systems analysts in their absence.
Ensures that SAP IM/WM software systems activities and strategies are aligned to support the plant’s goals and targets.
Ensures data accuracy (error codes, inventory, log files, control cycles, etc.) through audits and resolves discrepancies as required.
Resolves errors and faults of the hardware/software by working with ESA and IT.
Leads physical logistics in regard to systems testing, systems development, and structure changes (PLC), and is responsible for go-live checks/changes.
Physical logistics "key-user" responsible for work instruction development/accuracy, training other users, approving systems access, and approving business change requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned by the operations supervisor.

Position Competencies:
Education:
AS degree, preferably in Inventory Control, Business, Computer Science, or a technical area, or 2 years equivalent experience in a manufacturing logistics function.

Experience:
2+ years experience in a logistics function or materials management preferably including material flow management, SAP parts ordering, goods receiving, or demand/consumption.
1+ years of computer skills (Microsoft Office) with emphasis on Excel and Word.
Basic German, Spanish, and Chinese a plus.
Basic 1-year communication/interpersonal skills.
