HKA is offering a $2000 hiring bonus for this position.
This is a long term ongoing W2 contract position with no projected end date.

The RCM (Returnable Container Management) Specialist manages the returnable container process and is responsible for the returnable container accounts for a group of suppliers.
The primary focus is to ensure that the suppliers have adequate containers for shipment of production parts and to minimize the costs.
Evaluates the supplier returnable container inventories daily.
Maintains the monthly and event-based inventory account adjustments including scrap movements.
Analyzes container shortages and utilization of alternative packaging to determine root cause of shortage and responsibility.
Initiates actions to ensure the containers are kept at the agreed inventory levels including such actions as expedites, DOS reductions, request for replacement or additional packaging, etc. with the target to minimize overall costs.
Assigns costs for expedites/ alternative packaging to responsible parties.
Evaluates missing containers and debiting of responsible parties.
Evaluates demand vs. loaded quantities vs. shipped quantities vs. delivered quantities of containers to ensure proper container handling is in place and delivery service meets the contractual requirements.
Reporting of expedites and root cause analysis.
Manages plastic container and insert /repair replacement.
Responds to supplier complaint reports in a timely manner.
Communicates with supplier and process partner daily.
Audits provider documentation and inventories.
Validates invoices and approval of contractor services.
Issues strategic reports to improve performance/ communicate with functional partners.
Supports special projects and IT development/ testing efforts.
Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.
BA/BS Degree or 4 years’ experience in Logistics Project Management.
2+ years’ experience in a logistics function or materials management preferred.
Valid driver license in good standing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced level use of Microsoft Access and Excel.
Advanced use of pivot tables, lookups, macros, and formulas to manage data (preferred)
Advanced knowledge of automotive reverse logistics networks (preferred)
Advanced Spanish or German language fluency preferred
Intermediate SAP Data Mining and Reporting experience preferred
Intermediate SAP WM experience preferred
Intermediate expediting and container leveling preferred
Intermediate packaging expertise preferred
