Pin-Point Solutions is hiring a Regional Director of Health, Safety and Food Service

Job Description:

The Regional Director of Health, Safety and Food Service will lead and develop the Health, Safety and Food Services functions for all company sites in the Americas. 

Will define and develop strategies and policies for the work environment, health, occupational safety, ergonomics and food services group in collaboration with site leadership and site HR management.

Develops the overall regional strategy for the Health and Work environment

Develops and oversees the implementation of strategic global and regional health & safety concepts

Evaluates existing programs and concepts for regional and corporate compliance, modifying processes, programs and procedures as necessary

Leads and manages the Occupational Health, Safety and Food Services teams, responsible for the recruitment and development of top-flight talent in a regionally dispersed team

Strategic and operational lead for personnel at start up facilities in South and Central America

Oversees the performance of safety audits in manufacturing and non-manufacturing locations.

Acts as Management of Change under OHSAS 18001 requirements, including leading objectives and programs for continuous improvement.

Assesses and steers the service providers for cafeteria services

Steers renovation and build projects for cafeteria services

Assists in the design of services (content, RFP, and provider selection) and facilities, both cafeteria and medical clinics.

Manages departmental budget planning and forecasting

 

Qualifications: 

BA/BS Degree is required.

Master’s degree preferred

Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience (managing managers) is required

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the health and safety field

Previous experience working for a global, regional dispersed manufacturing organization is required

Previous automotive experience is ideal

Excellent written & verbal communication skills – effective at communicating with employees on the floor up to the C-suite

Strong consulting and influencing skills, able to inspire action without direct supervisory responsibility.

Effective and able manager of people – proven track record of building and leading high performing teams

Strong organizational skills

Proven planning, forecasting and budgeting experience

Advanced problem-solving skills

Continuous improvement mindset

Up to 40% travel can be expected.
