The Receiving Coordinator’s main responsibility is to receive in all materials for OI Analytical.

Accepts deliveries of incoming material and post them to open purchase orders, in addition to labeling all materials with the appropriate part number, PO number, and warehouse location.

Accepts deliveries of returned material and equipment and distributes them to the correct functional areas.

Checks supplier count versus purchase order quantity and ensure that no substitutions were made.

Posts receipts against open purchase orders, forwards the packing slip to the accounting department.

For Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) ensure that the RMA matches what is scheduled to be received and takes the RMA to the appropriate departments Product Line Supervisor for signature.

Handles hazardous material correctly

Maintains assigned equipment, supplies, desk, files and general work area in good order.

Interfaces with Purchasing, Product Line Supervisor and Service to resolve receiving issue.

Complete Timely transaction on Customer return materials and SRO’s

Assists Co-workers when necessary in packaging products for shipment.

Back-up Shipping Coordinator if required

Assists in preparation for yearly inventory.

Stocks items on appropriate racks

High School graduate or equivalent.

Some College or relevant experience preferred.

General knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Knowledge of PCs, data entry, and basic clerical skills.

Ability to perform detailed and accurate work with numerical data and calculations

Valid Texas Driver’s license.

Hazardous material Air and Ground shipping certification (a plus or will be obtained once employed)

Documentation experience necessary.
