Job Description
HKA Construction Services now have openings for Pulse Arc Structural Welders. The job site is at a shipyard located in Newport News, Virginia. All applicants must have four (4) years of naval shipyard experience as a 1st class Welder.
Wages:
Up to $45.00/Hr. & $120.00 Per Diem per day.
Required Skills:
Multi Pass. All positions fillet & butt welds using the following processes:
- SMAW
- GMAW
- FCAW
- GMAW-P
Heating – Oxygen/Propane Heating Torch
Air Carbon Arc Gouging
Ability to properly use fillet & butt weld gauges.
Performance test Required.
- Must successfully pass a background check & Hair follicle drug test.
- Must be able to work any shift and overtime, if required
