job Description:
This individual will be the single point of accountability responsible for projects assigned to the Nuclear Projects Organization. They will be responsible for all phases of the project plan including estimation, submitting funding requests, developing (and maintaining) project plan documents, meeting with stakeholders, delivering stakeholder updates, and tracking project status through implementation. This individual will need to be able to work independently and maintain nuclear facility unescorted access.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 11 years of project management experience.
Graduation from a four-year college or university.
Expert in project management principles.
Expertise to Strong Expertise in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving; Project related work experience; Risk Management; Leadership; Employee Management/Development; Oversight.
Desired experience:
This individual should have previous commercial nuclear industry project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters - business (MBA), project management, or equivalent.
Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMP or CAPM Certification; CMII/Construction Certifications; Professional Engineer License.
Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls.
Experience in utility industry.
Knowledge in construction management.
The Senior Project Manager may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Leadership (i.e. Business Analyst through CFO).
This position will be classified as 'hybrid' (preferred work location is on site, but flexibility exists to work remotely when situationally acceptable as determined by the site manager).
