Project Architect
Job Description
***Locations: Fort Worth, TX; Cary, NC; Philadelphia, PA; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Greenville, SC; Omaha, NE; Arlington, VA; Phoenix, AZ
(Must work onsite 2 days/week if within 50 miles of an office; remote considered otherwise)***
Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Architect with strong experience in industrial and mission-critical facility design. This role supports the design and delivery of data centers and manufacturing facilities, working in a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
Pay: $60.00- $75.00 per hour DOEKey Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design efforts for data centers and industrial facilities
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, clients, and subcontractors
- Develop construction documents, layouts, and technical specifications
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with building codes
- Review and coordinate designs across disciplines
- Participate in project meetings and resolve technical challenges
- Support construction activities (submittals, RFIs, field walks)
- Contribute to proposals, budgets, and schedules
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (accredited program)
- Professional Architect License (required)
- Ability to obtain licensure in multiple states
- Minimum 8+ years of architectural design experience
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of building codes and industrial facility design
- Experience with project management, budgeting, and scheduling
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Architecture
- Experience designing data centers or manufacturing facilities
Work Environment
- Hybrid role (2 days onsite per week if local)
- U.S.-based candidates only
