Production Supervisor- Nights

Responsibilities:

• Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes and monitors workflow.
• Assist Management in assessing individual and team performance and development.
• Develop team maturity: coach and counsel teams through accountability matrix ,motivate team to achieve goals and ensure effective team communication.
• Administrative: Prepare shift manning schedules to ensure proper coverage and production is achieved Record attendance and document vacation and holiday taken. Ensure proper handling and entry of ADP timecards. Document absenteeism and communicate unfavorable trend to the supervisor. Advise management of employee issues that man required their immediate attention to Safety, Quality, Production and Personnel issues.
• May recommend disciplinary action outside of Accountability Matrix.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods implementing cost reductions, following reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's degree / Technical schooling is preferred.
• 4+ years of progression in manufacturing leadership positions of growing responsibility, with a preference for experience in packaging solutions.
• Solid ERP systems knowledge is preferred.
