Description:

The Production Planner is responsible for the execution of the assembly & test schedule for assigned customer end items. The Planner must gain a working knowledge of the relevant procedures and work instructions to support the production of assemblies critical to human spaceflight. Day to day responsibilities include verifying the status of assigned hardware, converting Planned Orders to Production Orders, creation of unplanned Production Orders, ensuring production readiness per guidelines, initiating material pulls for builds, driving resolution of open items at the conclusion of production, looking ahead to future operations to ensure that needed paperwork and supplies are available when required, assisting in coordination of in-process & final shipments, attending & contributing to product team meetings as well as Program meetings, updating schedules in SAP as required. The Planner is also required to support weekends ~4 days per year for all Programs once sufficiently trained; those duties will include kitting of hardware and movement of hardware between work areas in addition to typical Planner tasks.

  • Associate degree is required.
  • This position requires the candidate to be onsite.
