Predictive Maintenance Technician

Job Description
Implements tactical asset management strategy through the implementation of PdM technologies. Understand and utilize PdM Technologies (Ultrasonic, Thermography) to perform condition monitoring and predict equipment failures in a proactive maintenance environment. Participates in root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and analysis of reliability problems to determine the required reliability approach for the situation, with consideration given to the cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime, repair/replacement costs and weight, size and availability of materials/equipment.
Perform and implement route-based maintenance deploying PdM Technologies (Thermography, Ultrasonic).
Analyze results and develop corrective actions. Document all corrective actions in the work order system/CMMS.
Update computerized maintenance system with accurate and timely information related to work performed and as found conditions.
Support on time closure of work orders and accurate/complete documentation of work performed.
Support continuous improvement process (Use CI Tools such as 5 Why for root cause analysis and problem solving
Job Requirements
Education/Experience
Minimum of high school diploma with additional training in area of expertise.
Higher education in engineering-related discipline is desirable.
5-7 years’ of Industrial Electrical experience. Experience / understanding of steam delivery systems
working knowledge of energy calculation (kilowatt, btu, etc.)
Prefer journeyman electrician license.
Able to attain PDM technologies certification (Ultrasound and thermography), if needed.
Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
