Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble pipe sections, fittings, and supports using hand tools and welding techniques.
- Perform pipe threading and tube bending to meet project specifications.
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise cuts and fittings.
- Conduct regular inspections of piping systems to identify leaks or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools used in pipefitting tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards in all work activities.
