Day and Night shift available, 12 hour rotating shifts

Responsibilities
The Technicians will primarily work from the Sludge Mobilization System (SLMS) Control Room where they will control the SLMS equipment remotely in accordance with all Sludge Test Area (SLTA) procedures, plans, and guides. The Technicians will be required to enter the equipment pad area to visually verify the operation of equipment, collect samples on a regular basis, and perform manual valve line-ups. The Technicians will be responsible for monitoring the SLTA and its equipment for safe operation. The Technicians will be trained to operate all equipment and collect samples as needed. If an unsafe condition develops, they have the responsibility to shut down the impacted equipment to a safe state at the direction of the Test Manager, Asset Manager, or Shift Manager. They are also responsible to ensure that the equipment is protected from adverse weather conditions by activating cold weather systems and evacuating liquids from equipment and piping as much as possible to prevent damage to equipment from freezing temperatures.
Technicians will be required to test the physical properties of samples collected from the SLTA. The Technicians are responsible for the safe operation of the Lab onsite at the SLTA to perform density and total suspended solids analyses on samples collected from the testing. Training will be provided to the Technicians by CCI prior to performing sample testing.
Technicians will be required to verify procedures prior to use and after any modifications to the SLTA are implemented. Procedures will be routinely verified to confirm they are current, valid and in alignment with the other SLTA current plans, procedures, and guides.

- Technicians must have a high school diploma or equivalent degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience operating similar process mechanical and compressed air systems in a test or industrial environment.
- Technicians must also have certificate of completion for an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training course from a qualified training company prior to site access.
- Each Technician must demonstrate operator discipline to follow procedures and maintain safe conditions.
- Technicians will be deemed “qualified” to perform assigned functions based on training provided by CCI and the Technician’s performance during training.
- Technicians must be US citizens and have a clear criminal record.
