Nuclear Electrical Implementation Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Electrical Implementation Manager II for a Spring Outage short-term assignment. This is an urgent need for a seasoned nuclear professional with strong electrical project implementation experience.
This role leads field execution activities for Modification, Project, and Outage (MPO) work scopes, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-schedule implementation within a nuclear generating station environment.
Pay: $68.00- $78.00 per hour DOE
Key Responsibilities
Safety Leadership
Champion nuclear safety culture and CORE 4 expectations
Conduct safety observations, work execution reviews, and risk assessments
Review/approve vendor safety plans and ensure ALARA compliance
Monitor worker fatigue and support contamination prevention goals
Project Execution & Quality
Oversee electrical modification implementation during outage
Coordinate craft, supervisors, outage coordinators, and project managers
Support pre-job briefs, procedure validation, FAT participation, and mockups
Provide field technical support during installation and testing
Manage multi-shift turnovers and post-implementation critiques
Develop contingency plans for scope or schedule changes
Schedule & Planning
Support detailed outage scheduling and daily look-aheads
Monitor progress and escalate delays or overtime concerns
Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, RP, and Chemistry
Ensure material readiness, special tooling, and temporary power needs
Serve as single point of contact (SPOC) for assigned implementation scope
Required Qualifications
Nuclear power plant experience (commercial preferred)
Electrical project implementation experience in outage environment
Strong working knowledge of nuclear safety, ALARA, and work control processes
Experience leading craft and multi-discipline teams
Proven ability to manage schedule adherence and field execution risks
