Job Description:

The Engineer reports to Section Manager or Department Manager. Functionally may work under a program assigned lead.

Perform pipe stress analysis, (both manual and computer) to verify the piping design layouts are in compliance with applicable codes utilizing Caesar II.

Perform design quality checking of other stress engineer’s calculations, line list and specialty items.

Initiate necessary procurement documentation including fabrication/construction specifications, and facilitation of all subsequent pertinent procurement activities.

Review and / or prepare Piping Material specifications

Manage job cost accounting, manpower planning, estimating, change notice submittals, and potentially supervision of staff members.

Coordinate with the other project team members concerning common elements and act as liaison with other global offices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required

12+ years of total experience desired

5+ years of oil & gas and chemical industry experience required

Proficient in using Caesar II

Finite Element Analysis

Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience in engineering and/or construction work process

Jobsite experience

Requires TWIC Card

Requires RSO Certification

Local candidates are preferred
