HKA is working on behalf of Jacobs and this role is to support Jacobs’ work through HKA.
Looking for mid to senior level Mechanical HVAC Engineer who can bring a subject matter expert level of experience and expertise to serve and mentor our burgeoning mechanical group located in St. Louis, MO. Not looking for a Department Head. This is an opportunity to provide high level design on exciting projects for the Federal Market.
As a Mechanical HVAC Engineer in St. Louis, MO, you’ll leverage your people management skills to help your team members discover what drives them and guide them forward. You’ll be providing a range of skills as part of an integrated building services design team. Our skills include power system planning, power distribution, lighting design, and construction coordination. You’ll also take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.
Job Requirements
Must Haves:
- 15 years experience in Building HVAC Design with progressively more responsibility
- Professional Registration
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
Ideally:
- Experience with Federal Clients, i.e. USACE, DoD, NAVFAC, and Federal Civilian
- Mission Critical and/or Command and Control Facilities
- DoD Hangar Experience
- Large chiller plant and heating water system experience
- Active in ASHRAE locally and/or Nationally
- LEED Accreditation
