  • Work with engineering leadership, consulting engineers, project engineers, marketing, production, quality, purchasing, and vendors to manage product improvement and cost reduction projects for globally sourced products.
  • Apply sound engineering principles to components and systems in order to create and assess designs, bill of materials, including 3D computer modeling, assembly, analysis, and documentation of results; construction of assemblies, sub-assemblies and components; and quality testing.
  • Support the planning and implementation of new builds and releases of the XIS Engineering Systems, primarily PTC PDMLink, PTC Creo Parametric, and other Engineering related software tools along with the management of the engineering data used in these systems.
  • Project leadership of infrastructure revision upgrades, debugging, and software integrations.
  • PLM Workflow maintenance development to aid Engineering Information CI solutions to product data management.
  • Create and setup the infrastructure needed to support new product development.
  • Assist building a product development communication network. Analyze existing systems, plan future environments.
  • Understand future architecture needed for communication between products and internal/external customers.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for the administration, maintenance of the applications.
  • Supports projects and teams related to Engineering Systems applications.
  • Provide enterprise-wide administration and support of Engineering Systems applications.
  • Champion XIS Engineering Systems applications throughout the organization.

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • General knowledge of engineering & manufacturing policies and operations, including production control, quality control, electrical product, or industrial engineering.
  • Familiar with common manufacturing processes (casting, 3D models, patterns, machining, & stamping).
  • Technical competency in areas relating to: motors, drives, pumping technology, electronic controls, business values, project management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in tools such as Microsoft suite of tools, Pro-E/CREO, PDMLink, Configured product.
  • Articulate and skillful at creating information, written or otherwise.
  • Exhibits good analytical skills with ability to organize, implement projects to detailed timelines and budgets.
  • Familiarity with the most current Product Lifecycle Management systems and methods, CAD systems and tools, project management, content management systems, and the communication and interaction between IT systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve difficult problems. Understanding of engineering standards, principles and theories.
  • Excellent collaborative interpersonal skills, ability to interface and communicate well with stakeholders.
  • Willing to direct and receive direction from others.
  • Must have good multi-tasking skills and be flexible to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to understand business processes with the means of using information system tools to map & integrate them together into an effective process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experiences.
  • Experience with valves, pumps, electric motors, and other electro-mechanical products.
  • Production and/or Support Engineering area experience preferred.
