Mechanical Engineer – Entry Level
Job Description
Pay: $30 - $40/hr
We are seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Boise, ID, supporting the design of industrial and commercial facilities. This role offers hands-on experience working on HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems while collaborating with a multidisciplinary engineering team.
You’ll support the design, development, and specification of building systems, assist with on-site startup activities, and gain exposure to project scope, schedule, and budget management. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer eager to grow in the buildings and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Support design and engineering of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems
Assist with technical tasks, schedules, and quality control
Coordinate with discipline leads and project team members
Participate in multi-disciplinary project teams
Provide on-site support during construction and startup as needed
Learn client standards, best practices, and engineering processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred
Working knowledge of Revit preferred
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in team environments
Interest in industrial/manufacturing and commercial building projects

$4,000 relocation bonus available for qualified candidates
