HVAC Design Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer with expertise in HVAC and building mechanical systems for semiconductor and high-tech facility projects. This role will be responsible for developing detailed designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and producing high-quality construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Pay: $40.00- $67.00 per hour DOE
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Computer Drafting & Design or related experience
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience
- Experience with semiconductor or high-tech facility projects
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Navisworks experience for model review and coordination
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical design, codes, and standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate mechanical system designs and project deliverables
- Create models, plans, sections, details, and construction documents
- Perform design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination
- Conduct field surveys and resolve design conflicts
- Support project teams with technical expertise and design solutions
- Review submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements
