Aerospace and Defense Technical is hiring a Material Planner
This is a multi-faceted entry level position in the F100/F119/F135 Military Spares Planning and Schedule Management Group as an MRP Controller.
The major responsibility is to ensure that Military Customer requirements are accurately reflected to the producer by interfacing with numerous groups at various levels of management within the Military organization for defining customer requirements; negotiating reschedule activities at the part detail level with manufacturing and purchasing operations to assure parts availability for contractual requirements; working with manufacturing and purchasing operations to develop plans and actions to ensure on time delivery to the Customer; and managing forecasting schedules to prevent excess inventory build.
These responsibilities require performance in a highly visible environment with a focus on ensuring on-time delivery to our customers.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field is required.
2 years’ experience or related experience is desirable.
ACE Associates level
SAP experience, Access and Excel skills are desirable.
Must have the ability and skill set to participate in cross-functional teams and ACE improvement initiatives.
