Material Fixture Specialist

HKA is offering a $2000 hiring bonus for this position.
This is a long term ongoing W2 contract position with no projected end date.

The Specialist provides technical and specialized guidance to the Paint Shop for the use and maintenance of series fixtures, as well as planning and monitoring of series fixtures quality.
Supports implementation of improvement activities that affect efficient fixture usage.
Analyzes production volume landscape to determine fixture volume requirements.
Coordinates with third parties on continuous improvement activities to adhere to Quality Standards.
Coordinates with third parties on cleaning methods and timing.
Supports resolution of PQM items related to paint process regarding fixtures.
Interfaces with third party fixtures sorting and fixture repair teams to support improvements: Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action implementation.
Supports and provides input into the development of the long-range plan for fixtures, storage/staging, and Environmental impact.
Coordinates fitment and modification trials, activities and analyzes results to determine if fixture is production capable.
Assists in the development of long-range Environmental targets.
Coordinates with various cross functional areas on continuous improvement activities to achieve Environmental Targets.
Coordinates with various cross functional areas to ensure fixtures are provided to production in an acceptable and timely manner.
Ensures analytical equipment follows ISO 9001 standards.
Performs checks and audits to ensure environmental compliance as requested.
Supports checks and audits to ensure safe working environments.
Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.
BA/BS degree in a technical or physical science field or 4 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
40 CFR 265.16 Hazardous Waste Management Certification preferred
ISO 14001:2015 Auditor Certification preferred
2+ year of manufacturing experience in fixtures, tooling, parts and planning.
1+ years of experience with fixtures
1+ years of computer skills (Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and SAP preferred
Basic ability to solve problems.
Basic knowledge of Continuous improvement tools.
