Intermediate Level Machine Designer

Working Remotely but client has offices that they could work in. (Appleton, Wisconsin and Greenville, South Carolina.)

Training and Experience:

Pay:$55.00- $95.00 per hour DOE

• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and/or certifications, as needed; has some prior on-the-job experience; requires analytical or technical skills in designated machine design discipline
• Associates degree in Mechanical Design or related field with adequate related CAD drafting training in Parametric 3D modelling.
• 2-4 years of experience recommended, drafting/design
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient Inventor Skills ( or secondary  SolidWorks)

Nature of Work

• Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within designated technical discipline; works within standard operating procedures and/or analytical methods
• Requires some understanding of Manufacturing Practices and material selection
• Preparing engineering drawings from rough stretches, layouts, models, or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures 
• Work is typically comprised of generating detailed drawings for more senior designers or engineers with Inventor
• Performs basic CAD drafting utilizing client and industry standards for detail drawings
• Performs basic straightforward designs
• Performs some clerical duties

·Works with a moderate degree of supervision

Duration of Assignment

·3 months but expectation of longer duration or possible full-time hire possible later.
