Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled and licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician to join our team and support industrial facility operations through maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical systems.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and emergency electrical work
• Install and maintain lighting, power distribution, and machinery (up to 600V+)
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems using diagnostic tools
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Work with PLCs and VFDs in an industrial environment
• Follow strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
• Document findings, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions
• Support general facility maintenance and collaborate with other trades

What We’re Looking For

Michigan Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License
3+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
Valid Michigan driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in tight spaces
Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions

Bonus Experience

• PLC programming or troubleshooting
• VFD installation and maintenance
• Industrial maintenance environments
