We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Nondestructive Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing nondestructive tests on aerospace components and materials to ensure their integrity and reliability. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the high safety and quality standards expected in the aerospace industry.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct nondestructive tests (such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, or eddy current testing) on aerospace components according to established procedures and standards.
  • Interpret and evaluate test results to determine the presence and location of defects or abnormalities.
  • Document and report test findings accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures. 
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test results or equipment performance. 
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate readings and reliability. 
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and practices during testing procedures. 
  • Stay updated on advancements in NDT techniques and technologies relevant to aerospace applications. 
  • Assist in the development and improvement of testing procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in NDT preferred.
  • ASNT Level 3 Certification for NDT Testing or ASNT Level 2 Certification for NDT Testing  
  • Proven experience as an NDT technician in an aerospace or related manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in conducting common methods or various nondestructive tests (e.g., ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, eddy current).
  • Strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals. 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.
