Lead Maintenance Technician – Lift Stations (Water/Wastewater)
$30/hr
Our client is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to support lift station and wastewater system operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong electrical and mechanical experience who can lead maintenance activities and ensure reliable system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and assign maintenance work, ensuring high-quality completion
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lift stations and wastewater equipment
Inspect, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, controls, and electrical systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues across systems
Install and modify equipment as needed
Maintain work orders and records in CMMS systems
Inspect auxiliary systems (generators, alarms, HVAC) and chemical feed equipment
Perform equipment alignment, replace bearings/seals/gears, and support welding tasks as needed
Travel between sites and support on-call maintenance when required
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as an electrical/mechanical technician
2+ years of experience working with pumps, motors, and wastewater-related systems
Valid driver’s license with no major infractions
Experience with CMMS systems
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in water/wastewater environments
Basic computer skills for data entry and work order updates
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electrical/electronic control systems
Knowledge of wastewater treatment operations and process control
CMRT certification (or ability to obtain)
Familiarity with applicable regulations and industry standards
