Laborer

Responsibilities:

Assist in the production of the mono layer and multi-layer film formulations and achieving the Films Extrusion Department’s production goals’ and objectives. Make boxes for centerfold extrusion lines. Follow the boxmaking schedules and have the appropriate boxes in the proper quantity prepared for the lines when the orders are run. Print box label for each order and apply to the boxes. Make sure the appropriate labels in the correct quantity are ready in a timely manner for each centerfold line. Have cores and labeled boxes together for each line and have them to the line for order changes. Assist the operators and attendants as needed. Work with the operators, attendants and TPLs to get lines the needed supplies for short notice changeovers. Work with the supply depot to restock boxes, cores labels, etc as needed in the boxmaking area. Work with core cutting to assure the correct cores are delivered in a timely manner.

Actively participates in the High Performance Work Teams while taking on a resource roles for one of the responsible areas: Quality, Customer Service, Human Resources, EHS/PFS, Lean/20 Keys, Process Improvement, TPM and Training. As a team member meeting continuous improvement objectives and ensuring the successful communication and performance of the teams are required and perform all duties as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma required
• 0-3 years experience
• Flexibility within a high performance work environment
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
• Able to work without close supervision
• Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained.
