Job Description
Contract duration: 12-16 weeks with potential for Direct Hire offer
Inside Sales Responsibilities:
- Participates in the development of the Business Unit's qualifications packages and technical proposals and coordination of presentation materials with a focused attention to detail
- Manage deliverables related to qualification packages, proposals and client presentations including technical writing of deliverables
- Coordinating with Business Development Managers and Operations/Field personnel for necessary project specific and technical content for business development and sales materials
- Serving as an integral member of the Business Unit’s business development team
Marketing Responsibilities:
- Collect and manage e-mail and direct mail contact lists for local clients, prospects, key influencers
- Partner in the production of business unit marketing initiatives, including e-mail campaigns, direct mail campaigns, press releases, forums, local events, publication surveys
- Plan and implement Divisional events, such as dinners, golf or other charitable activities, open houses, groundbreakings
- Provide content for business unit-specific social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and entries for the business unit-specific sections of the corporate blog
- Support local award applications
- Organize and attend sales or project specific functions (e.g., ceremonies, groundbreakings, etc.) when appropriate and assist with support and photography
- Provide support for local trade show and marketing events (set up, strike, booth staffing) as appropriate
Job Requirements
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Preferred BS or MS in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1-5 years of experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strategic writing competency, reflecting key messaging and positioning needs
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Ability to utilize database and project management systems
- Possess moderate competency with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
