Responsibilities:
Perform routine assignments including but not limited to completing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports within deadlines. Perform routine equipment services/repairs/calibrations. Engage in scheduled virtual meetings weekly with your team members. Ability to oversee sub-contractors' work to complete maintenance tasks. Develop knowledge of industrial treatment plant operations and processes. Understand permit and sampling requirements. Abide by all local and federal requirements/regulations.
As an Industrial Tech, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted. Based in Winter Park, CO, you’ll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the operation, maintenance, calibration, diagnosis, inspection, and repair of the equipment, instruments, processes and support systems of an industrial water and/or wastewater treatment facility; and provide guidance and direction to plant operators, mechanics and industrial technicians. You’ll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to complex challenges that may arise in the facilities. You’ll operate, monitor and calibrate motors, generators, gauges, valves and gates to regulate processes; determine and set flow rates, pressure, distribution and chemical dosage; maintain a log of operations and process adjustments as necessary; observe variances, and interpret meter/gauge readings; collect samples and perform laboratory tests; process, haul and apply residuals in accordance with regulations; utilize data management tools, and perform other duties as required. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team.

Must possess a valid driver's license with no major infractions. Must qualify for use of a company-provided vehicle. Advanced experience with industrial production techniques and industrial equipment. Proficient use of Microsoft programs including SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Experience operating a wastewater treatment facility. Strong data analysis and technical problem-solving. Ability to perform general maintenance work; safe work practices; principles and methods of biological and chemical wastewater analyses, effects and problems of industrial waste in water/wastewater treatment processes, principles of supervision. Ability to work alone with minimal supervision. Self-motivated, team-oriented, organized, and able to successfully multitask. Strong written and oral communication skills. Dependable and committed to meeting all assigned project deadlines. Must live within daily commute distance of Winter Park, Colorado where the treatment plant is located.
Ideally, You'll Also Have: Colorado certification in water or wastewater treatment or working toward certification. Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools employed in the general operation of engines, pumps, valves, motors, and related equipment. The work area can involve a working environment indoors as well as outdoors, which could cause exposure to outdoor elements; proper environmental attire will be required. Some areas can have loud noise, active machinery, high-pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, airborne particles, noxious gases, pathogens, and various chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
