Journeyman Plumber / Pipefitter – Industrial Facilities

We are seeking a skilled Plumber/Pipefitter with industrial or facilities maintenance experience to support preventative maintenance, repairs, and installation of piping systems in a commercial/industrial environment.

This role supports facility operations by maintaining water, air, gas, steam, heating, and chilled water systems while ensuring safe and efficient system performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and emergency plumbing/pipefitting work
• Install and repair piping systems, valves, supports, and fixtures
• Fabricate piping using cutting, threading, bending, and welding methods
• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic testing of piping systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and schematics
• Troubleshoot high and low pressure piping systems
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and aerial lifts
• Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, and corrective actions
• Support general facility maintenance and assist other trades when needed

Requirements

? Journeyman Pipefitter or completion of accredited pipefitter apprenticeship
? 3+ years of industrial or facilities piping maintenance experience
? Ability to read blueprints and piping schematics
? Valid Michigan driver’s license
? High school diploma or GED
? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces
? Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
? Must pass background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Michigan Journeyman or Master Plumber License
• ASSE Backflow Certification
• AWS Welding Certification
