HVAC Mechanic
Job Description

HKA is working on behalf of Jacobs and this role is to support Jacobs’ work through HKA.
Responsibilities:
You'll be responsible for:
- Inspections, planned maintenance, installing various building and HVAC equipment/components.
- Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment and building automation controls.
- Documentation of work activities and other work-related activities
- Compliance with regulations
- Support ERT
- Other duties as assigned or required by the scope of work
- Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of you and your team.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Qualifications :
- HVAC experience in a commercial type setting (chillers, pumps, piping)
- Universal refrigerant card needed
- Work within a team environment
- Two to Four years of experience as an HVAC technician
- Proficiency in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Proficiency with Building Automation Systems (BAS) such as Siemens
- Proficient with Microsoft office tools such as word, excel and outlook.
- A valid driver’s license with no major infractions
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance to work in a classified space
- Ability to rotate on-call and respond to emergencies at the facility within 30 minutes while on-call.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Experience working with municipal utility client
- Trade school HVAC training or certificates
- Safe work practices
