Functional Title: Full Stack Software Engineer : 195245
Pay Range: 51.36 - 70.62 (Depends on experience)
Contract: Long term ongoing, can last up to 3 years.
No relocation offered, No Corp to Corp offered, No 3rd party recruiter candidates accepted.
PTO, Sick Pay, and Holiday Pay Offered
40% onsite 60 % remote – must be in located in SC
Interview: 1st interview can be done via TEAMS, and the 2nd interview will be an in-person interview. The manager will not pay for travel to and from the 2nd in person interview.
Required Skills:
Cloud Infrastructure Management: 5+ years of experience managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, with a strong focus on AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SQS).
Issue Diagnosis & Resolution: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues by analyzing logs (e.g., AWS CloudWatch) and implementing effective solutions to ensure high system reliability.
Code Optimization & Collaboration: 3+ years of experience executing code changes, refactoring non-performant code, and collaborating with developers to optimize application performance.
Cloud Architecture Experience: 2+ years of experience architecting and deploying applications based on major cloud provider infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), with contributions to architectural decisions and modifications.
Database Performance Optimization: Hands-on experience tuning database queries, monitoring database health, and improving query execution efficiency for high-traffic systems.
Observability & Monitoring: Demonstrated ability to implement and improve observability strategies, including monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure system uptime and reliability.
Top 3 Skills:
Expertise in maintaining and optimizing cloud infrastructure, with a deep understanding of AWS services, system performance tuning, and cost optimization strategies.
Strong debugging skills, including proficiency in analyzing logs, tracing system issues, and implementing fixes in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving and coding abilities, with experience making minor application code changes and improving codebase efficiency to support scalable, reliable systems.
Must Have:
Experience and proficiency deploying and tuning a software execution environment to ensure reliable operations.
Nice to Have:
Experience as a TypeScript-based developer utilizing frameworks such as NestJS, React, or Svelte.
Position Scope:
Designs and develops overall architecture for web application using leading edge technologies and know-how from Industry, partner companies, local universities and internal partners into automotive concepts. Integrates these concepts using CLIENT project development and Integration processes. Identifies emerging technologies to build software and/or hardware prototypes and production ready solutions. Focuses on areas including but not limited to web, DB, ETL, and other enabling technologies to develop and maintain quality, responsive applications.
Position Responsibilities:
Designs and develops web applications.
Defines and documents the design of functionality through use cases, business process flows, UI design, and UML modeling as necessary.
Works on several development initiatives concurrently and provide subject matter expertise on customer implementations and product customization.
Partners with other developers to develop functionality following existing style and coding standards.
Reviews designs, demo prototypes and provides application support.
Defines the visualization and realization of future technologies.
Supports the complete process from development of concepts and vision to full production-ready solutions which can be integrated rapidly into the automotive environment.
Serves as a primary point of contact for other engineers and specialists in the team to provide expert knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Serves as an internal consultant to other developers and engineers as needed, providing assistance in all phases of product life-cycle development.
Maintains accurate, meaningful and updated technical and non-technical documentation pertaining to all aspects of area(s) of responsibility.
Analyzes business critical processes, evaluates and recommends improvements.
Measures performance of delivered services through set of agreed metrics and ensures appropriate actions are taken so that all services agreements are met.
Performs other duties as assigned by CLIENT Operations Supervisor.
Position Competencies:
Education:
BA/BS Degree in Business, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred or the equivalent of 4 years professional IT related experience. MS degree (preferred).
Experience:
5+ years of technical experience in Information Technology.
2+ years of experience in web and DB development with demonstrated strengths in software and hardware design, development, Integration and testing.
5+ years of experience with Object oriented programming (Java, Objective C, or JavaScript).
3+ years of experience implementing software design patterns and best practices applicable to web development.
1+ years of experience developing enterprise or client facing web applications.
1+ years of experience deploying and supporting Web applications.
1+ years of hands-on development experience with back-end programming languages (PHP, Python, Java, .NET, JavaScript, etc).
1+ years of experience with MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle.
1+ years of experience interfacing with REST Web Services and JSON/XML.
1+ years of experience monitoring and supporting performance of web applications and infrastructure.
Basic knowledge of Linux Server administration, Version Control Systems.
