HKA is working on behalf of Jacobs and this role is to support Jacobs’ work through HKA.

Shift: 2pm-10pm

Position Summary

The Facility Escort ensures that strict security and safety policies are followed while providing access to vendors, contractors and other service providers to secured areas of the Atlanta Airport.

Essential Job Functions

1. Monitor escorted parties and ensure they are working safely while not damaging airport property.
2. Provide support to skilled craft and tradesmen that may require assistance with passenger and access control, as well as other maintenance, repair, and projects. This assistance will afford opportunities to learn and be exposed to the wide range operations, maintenance and repair services Jacobs provides.
3. As knowledge is acquired, simple maintenance and repair tasks when not performing primary roof access duties will be assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. This position requires an organized, self-motivated individual with some very basic maintenance, repair, and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
2. Candidate must be able to comprehend security directives and be able to enforce them with escorted parties.
3. Candidate must be a good communicator, both verbally and in writing. 

Education
HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required with associates degree preferred

Experience Required:

1. Six months to 2 year’s maintenance, repair, office, facility operations, security or similar experience required.
2. Valid Georgia Driver’s License with no major infractions

Experience Preferred

1. Two to 3 year’s maintenance, repair, office, facility operations, security or similar experience required
