Engineering Technologist III 189625

Engineer III position solves complex problems in engineering areas of specialization with limited supervision. Expected to develop advanced skills, and the ability to work with greater independence. Effectively applies fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is progressively complex and varied.

Responsibilities

• Provides deep technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems in area of expertise,
• Ensures accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities,
• Independently prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches,
• Conducts engineering and related studies,
• Strives to continually improve job-related, technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance,
• Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities,
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills,
• Maintains accurate records and files,
• Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally.
• Support emergency/storm events

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• A Masters degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B. S. Engineering degree.
• • Minimum of four (4) years of engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or state registration as a Professional Engineer.
• A Master’s degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B. S. Engineering degree
• • Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience (without a Professional Engineer certification) or 5 years of engineering experience (with a Professional Engineer certification).
